Joffa has been described as an Alchemist, mostly by himself, and should under no circumstances be confused with a doctor.
Lady C lives by the rule of fabulous, which basically boils down to "you're either fabulous or you die".
We all have our bad days, the thing is that Lady C's are way longer
"If I see you you die" is actually an apropiate slogan because Xem hardly ever sees anything at all.

The Wymrad
The Wymrad is a beast created from a terrible curse. Deena is only one of the three recipients ever to survive the curse, and she's not too happy about it.
All the gals, standing side by side, having a good time!
Zarhee was taken as a teenager to endure the curse. No matter how hard Deena tried, she couldn't stop it, but she could save the girl and take her away to a better life.
Deena was the second to survive the curse, but she couldn't escape the witches that cast it. Not until much later that is.
Verona is the wealthy runaway child of a noble house. She spends her days drinking and partying until the day a mysterious stranger with crazy eyes caught her attention and well, things have been much more complicated after that.
